A DTS student passed away resently

Our DTS school ended this past friday on July 18th, just two days later a 20 year old, named Vatana drowned in a river near his house. He and a friend were swimming and both started to drown, they're friends came out to help them but were getting close to drowning as well, so Vatana selflessly pushed his friend to the ones that were trying to saved them and then drowned. This tragedy has been hard on the school and especially the students and staff. Vatana was a huge influence on all of our lives. He lived with so much passion and love for Jesus. He lived his life to reflect the image of God. And even though we are left behind to deal with the grief of losing such an amazing man of God, we know that he is in the place we all want to be with Our Father in Heaven. The woman that rasied him said that the last thing that he shared with her was that he wanted to do missions. Vatana loved to tell people about Jesus. In the last 15 minutes of his outreach he shared Jesus with two people and they decided to follow the Lord. Please continue to pray for his family, friend, the dts students and staff and especially the young man that was saved from the drowning. Thanks for all our your love and prayers.
