Sick Eye

Resently I got a horrible Eye infection. It swelled up and I finally was able to dig out the infection. The picture doesn't do it justice, but it does show the beginning of it. It is now healing. Praise God!

Creatively Cooking

This is one of the new cooking classes that I am teaching in the youth center at our base. There are 4 students, a translator and our cook Rachana, who is too old to be a student in our youth center, but I know how much she enjoys learning to cook new foods, so I let her also join.



I love that each bowl was decorated differently. Lately Rachana (our cook) has been decorating our meals. It is fun to see her put the teachings into pratice.



They made a Creamy Tomato and Basil Soup. And it was excellent!

Cooking Missionaries?????

This is one of my cooking classes that is held in the kitchen of a cafe called Fresh Eats. These are the women of the group the one on the far left is my translator. The tallest one is the cook for this cafe.



I have between 10 and 12 students. We are making cinnamon rolls without any brown sugar. It was still quite tasty.



These students come from an organization called Homeland. It is a non christian organization that helps street children and AIDS orphans and widows learn a skill so that they can start a business or get a job, so that they will survive.



I love this class and am excited to see what God will do through my relationship with these women and children. Please pray.
