THE LORD THAT WE SERVE IS SO REAL. WELL I WAS ABLE TO FLY WITH MY TWO SUITCASES PLUS ALOT OF CARRY ONS THANKS TO MY AMAZING SISTER IN LAW, MO. AS I WAS GOING THROUGH SECURITY A MAN BEHIND ME HELPED ME, LATER I FOUND OUT THAT HE IS THAI BUT GREW UP IN CAMBODIA. AFTER TEARFUL PHONE CALLS I FINALLY BOARDED MY PLANE. A BOY IN FRONT OF ME HELPED WITH MY MANY CARRY ONS. WHICH LATER I REALISED THAT I MUST HAVE MADE AN IMPRESSION ON HIM SINCE HE STARED BACK AT ME FOR 13 HOURS, EVEN WHILE I SLEPT. WHEN WE LANDED MY SPECIAL STARING FRIEND HELPED ME AGAIN AND I FOUND OUT THAT HE WAS FROM SEATTLE BUT HE AND HIS FAMILY WERE VISITING THEIR FAMILY IN CAMBODIA, SO I SHOCKED EVERYONE WITH MY SWEET KHMER LANGUAGE SKILLS. AFTER THAT I BOARDED ANOTHER PLANE FOR A 4 HOUR RIDE TO BANGKOK WHERE ONCE AGAIN GOD HAD HIS HAND ON ME. I SAT NEXT TO A THAI WOMAN AND HER AMERICAN HUSBAND. THEY HAD MET DURING THE VIETNAM WAR. SHE BECAME MY MOTHER ON THE FLIGHT AND COMFORTED ME, TOOK MY TRASH, AND AT ONE POINT LOOKED THROUGH HER BAG FOR A PRESENT FOR ME WHICH WAS A HANDFUL OF COUGH DROPS...YUMMY! MY STAY IN BANGKOK WAS WONDERFUL AND BUS RIDE TO THE BORDER WAS GOOD. AND FOR THOSE THAT KNOW ME I CAN'T JUST GO THROUGH THE BORDER BY MYSELF MAINLY BECAUSE I HAVE A DISEASE WHERE I HAVE TO HELP EVERYONE THAT IS GOING THROUGH THE BORDER. I MET 3 MEN THAT WERE ON VACATION FROM HOLLAND. WELL SURPRIZINGLY WE WERE ABLE TO GET THROUGH THE BORDER WITH NO PROBLEMS WITH THE POLICE AND CORRUPTION. ONE EXCITING THING HAPPENED AT THE BORDER A POLICEMAN REMEMBERED ME. HE SAID "YOU CAME BACK!". AFTER THAT I CAUGHT MY TAXI AND WAVED GOODBYE TO MY NEW FRIENDS AND WAS HEADING TO BATTAMBANG. I REALLY SAW GOD'S FAITHFUNESS. MY PARENTS HAD PRAYED FOR MY SAFETY, FEAR OF FLYING, HEALTH AND FOR THOSE THAT SAT AROUND ME AND FOR GOD'S FAVOR. GOD IS GOOD BECAUSE HE ANSWERED EVERY PRAYER. BEFORE IN ELLENSBURG I WAS SICK YET WHEN I GOT ON THE PLANE MY SICKNESS WENT AWAY. WHICH IS IMPORTANT WHEN ENTERING COUNTRIES WHERE THEY ARE CHECKING EVERYONE FOR THE SWINE FLU. I ARRIVED IN BATTAMBANG SICK FREE AND WAS WELCOMED BY MANY OF MY FRIENDS. BUT THE SICKNESS HAS COME BACK SO PLEASE KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS. GOD IS GOOD AND HE IS FAITHFUL.

A MOTO AND A BASKET
MANY OF YOU MAY KNOW THAT I WAS RAISING SUPPORT FOR A MOTO (AKA- MOTORCYCLE) AND, PRAISE THE LORD, THE MONEY CAME IN. BUT I HAVE WAITED A LONG TIME TO BUY IT MAINLY BECAUSE DIFFERENT STAFF LET ME BORROW THEIR MOTO WHILE THEY WERE IN THE STATES SO I DID NOT NEED A MOTO UNTIL RECENTLY. SOOO HERE IT IS.

GOD REALLY HAD HIS HAND IN THIS. LAST YEAR WHEN I WAS LOOKING AROUND AT PRICES IT WAS MORE EXPENSIVE TO BUY.
BUT NOW YOU CAN BUY A NEW MOTO FOR WAY LESS. AND THIS MOTO IS GREAT BECAUSE IT IS POWERFUL. NORMALLY THESE MOTOS ARE USED FOR PULLING TUK TUKS AND CARTS WHICH WILL BE GOOD FOR THE FUTURE. THANK YOU LORD!
IN THIS PICTURE YOU WILL SEE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ON A MOTO, YOUR HELMET. THE SMARTEST THING I CAN DO IS PROTECT MY HEAD.
THIS IS MY FAVORITE THING IS THE BASKET THAT MY FRIEND DETH AND I CREATED. AS YOU KNOW I TRAVEL TO THE MARKET ALOT AND NOW I HAVE A PLACE TO PUT ALL OF THE ITEMS. IT EVEN HAS A LOCK ON IT.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THAT GAVE TO THE MOTO FUND AND THAT CONTINUE TO SUPPORT ME IN THE MISSION FIELD.

Suitcases full of love
So a team came from Yakima to Battambang and carried some very heavy suitcases filled with pampered chef. It was so exciting to open these suitcases and see all of the cook ware that will be used for the cooking classes and cafe.
As many of you know that a fifth grade sunday school class held a tea party to raise support to buy cooking supplies for my ministries. Stacy and Gemma along with all of these 5th graders helped to raise a large amount of support.
Since then I have recieved an encouragement card saying that "everytime I use my new pampered chef item that my husband bought for me at the tea, I pray for you."
I love it God is using people back home in this fight to see people come to know Him. Thank you for all of your love, prayers and support.
Hard Working Teams
We have many different jobs on this base and recently two girls that were the team coordinator recently went back to the states so a girl named krissy and I are coordinating the teams. So we have been quite busy with that.

One team that came wanted to do a work project. So I had them build a large trash dumpster out of bamboo, because every time we put our trash out many people would rip open the bags and spill our trash up and down the street. It was fun to create and work with them on this project.

Recenty a church team came from Yakima. The leaders of the team, their son is one of the leaders of the base here. They wanted to do a work project but first they needed tools so they blessed our base with all of these tools. Isn't God great!

Our base is growing and so it has been hard to find meeting places and classrooms so we asked if they could build us some huts

We are coming into the rainy season. And these huts will be ready just in time.

They are well built and we are excited to see how God uses them. May they be blessed with many questions and conversations about Jesus.

The Dts is off!
Our Discipleship Training School was sent out on commissioning night.
The school has 30 students and 15 staff.
Three teams stayed in cambodia to do there outreach, one team went to vietnam and one team went to china.
We worshiped and prayed and sent them out, as it says in the bible to go into the nations to preach the good news.
Relationships Built Through Pizza
I Just finished my 4th quarter working with the Youth Center by teaching a cooking class. My class fills up extremely fast and there are only a limited amount of space in the kitchen so that limits the amount of students. But it has been amazing because each quarter most of the same students come back.
They are so hungry for learning and open to trying new things. I have seen them grow and see them want to know what I think. God has been using this class to reach these students and I have gotten to be a tool in the process.
Recently I got to share my testimony with all of them, I know that the Lord was asking me to do it and I have to have faith that there was a reason for me to share. Please continue to pray that seeds were planted and that they would grow.

These Boys definately need our prayers
As many know I coached a soccer team this last season. The boys on the team range from ages 15- 18 years old. I offered to continue coaching once a week during the off season but many that are on and not on my team want to play soccer for money, because gambling here is a big deal, a huge stronghold. So I still check in with them from time to time. Yesterday one of the boys called me and said that he has a difficult heart and needs to talk with me about it. So I went to meet him and ended up meeting many of my boys along the way. I discovered many things during that time. One named Money, his girlfriend went to live in a different city so he tried to kill himself by drinking poison. I don’t know how serious he was with wanting to die or if he just wanted attention. Then another boy named Pier Rayick got angry with his mom and decided to leave and go to the border and wash cars. With him I am afraid that he will get into trouble, he some times is not there mentally and makes bad choices when pressured. Then a boy named Dawlei was joking with one of his friends and it ended up turning into a fight. Dawlei started to walk away and the boy had a wrench and hit him in the back of the head. This was at school, where he got a wrench, I have no idea. Dawlei got 6 stitches. Yesterday I got to talk to him about his part in it and about retaliation. He also let me pray for him. Things are happening to these boys that the Lord placed in my life and that I’ve had the privilege to disciple. Please lift these boys up in your prayer times.
Worship is what you make of it.
Okay so the other day we had our community meeting and we had invited different churches to help with the worship. Let’s just say that the boys were a bit nervous and had never played together. Also in Cambodia they have never really learned about beats. It kind of reminds me of the movie “The Jerk” where Steve Martin is born into a black family and he cannot clap on beat.
So anyways they started to sing and when Khmer play the keyboard they put it on trumpet sounds, so the song is being played at extremely high notes. I looked around at the foreigners and saw the looks on their faces. I thought if my brother Matt was here, who is a musician he would be cringing in the back. Then they started to sing “I will sing of your love forever” and I belted it out with such joy because in the midst of off beat, horrible sounds and singing, it didn’t matter because I still wanted to worship our loving and amazing God, and I wanted to sing of His love forever.

I am so proud!!!!
The line up and final instructions for the championship game. We were excited but also the boys were nervous because they didn't have their leader and captain Money. He was not allowed to play because of the red card that he had received in the previous game.
The team that we were playing comes from a church that works with CAMA Services. Pretty cool huh? This is me talking to Soc Geah about moving into open space and taking the ball to the corner to pull the defense out and cross the ball into the open space that he had just made.
This is Pisey, our smallest player with the biggest heart. He earned his starting position with his dedication and hard work. We played hard but in the end lost 3-1. It was our first time to lose in our undefeated season. The other team was extremely rough and aggressive but I watched with pride as they did not fight back in the physical fouls but played the game with their hearts. I watched as everyone of them cheered and encouraged one another on. I was finally seeing the fruit of the Lord.
At the end of the game each of the boys wanted a photo with their coach. This is Pisey and me.
At the end of the season party I watched my team stand up in the second place spot. And was so full of love and joy but most of all was thankful that the Lord had put me in their lives and I got to see His work in them.
How to I get them to Fight for Jesus.
The day started out as a wonderful photo filled day full of excitement and antisipation. This game could get us to the finals.
Here's our professional team photo.
Here's our nonprofessional photo.
The game started out fun but full of nervous energy. The other team knew that they were not at the same skill level so it became on their end a fight for body strength not soccer skill. By half time our team was up by two goals. Goals that were scored from Penalty Kicks. This is our best player Money. He received the golden boot award for the season, which means he scored the most goals out of all the teams.
At half time I encouraged them and okay maybe a little yelling for them to work as a team and to not get aggressive or retaliate to the physical battle that was happening on the field.
During the second half we scored our third goal. But the aggression had long pasted normal and ended up into a huge fight where I ran into the middle of a violent storm of the craziest fighting I have ever yet to witness. I saw what once was joyful eyes turn to eyes full of hate and violence. Boys had trash cans and coconuts ready to smash into peoples heads. But thankfully no one was hurt. The Game ended at that final moment. They gave us the win but they gave two red cards to two of my players including Money our leading scorer.

The Difference we can make with $10 dollars, what a small price to pay for a huge return
So Back in Ellensburg the Lord put it on my parents heart to try a raise money for soccer shoes for my team. They prayed about who they should ask. And I was so blessed to see so many different ages come together to support and show Christ's love to these boys. My soccer team is at an ophanage. So they don't have much. Many of them play barefoot and the fortunate ones have a pair of extremely old shoes and one...let me say it again... one pair of socks. So many people came together and helped make a difference in these boys hearts and lives by giving 10 dollars and encouraging them with a card and photo. In Cambodia many organizations are getting worried because of what is happening in America with the economy, yet I just saw generousity in it's purist form. And I am not worried because I know that God is always faithful and in Control.
To try and capture the joy and difference that was in their eyes was difficult but it truely was a priceless moment in my life. These pictures are as close as we can get to you really seeing what difference you made by believing and loving in them
My mom shared a story to me that I passed on to these boys that made them smile with joy. One of the families that gave, have a boy named Bodie. His mom and my mom were talking about Cambodia and after awhile Bodie said "that's where I am from" and both mom's looked at each other confused, they said "what do you mean you are from there" Bodie said " you know Cam...Bodi...a" I love that story and so did the boys.
