Accidents and Hospitals

So this past week has been eventful. I once again have been hit by a moto. This time I was riding a bike downtown and a woman hit me from behind. She fell hard, yet I continued riding. So I pulled over to help her and she was extremely angry, she had a scratch on her arm and knee. In Cambodia it is a difficult thing being white, a barong, which means foreigner or french man. Because they will do anything to get money from you. She started to yell and draw attention and create a crowd. In a situation like this you have mixed emotions because sympathy and compassion is your first responce yet here you need to show no emotion or they will twist it into being your fault, and that's what she did. We ended up having to pay 20 us dollars which is alot over here for something like that. But all is well and I learned my lesson. The second thing that has happened is I was asked to travel to Bangkok with a dts student who needed to be taken to the hospital. Since I have traveled alot and have spent time in Bangkok they asked me to take her. Her name is Natalie from the USA. And she has been developing these strange marks on her leg and one of them became a huge bump/ tumor looking thing. So we arrived in Bangkok and on the way I became pretty sick, but we got the the hospital and met with 3 different specialist Dr's and they did a surgury on her to remove the bump and now she is on antibiotics. I am still sick but am getting better. we have been here since friday and will stay til thursday or friday. Please pray for us. I have been learing the khmer language and it has been challenging but good. It's mainly learning how to put together sentences, since they structure doesn't make sense. Plus they have words that are exactly the same unless placed in a different place in the sentence which completely changes the word. It's been fun. God is continuing to do great things here and I am excited to share more with you especially about a huge vision that He has layed on my heart as well as the leaders at this base. As soon as they heard that I was coming this vision came into the light and they want me to start it. I will share more later. Thanks for praying. I love you all.
